A small pile of dried darjeeling black tea leaves on a white background

A 2nd Flush Darjeeling from one of the region's most celebrated estates, grown at 6,800ft in the Kurseong Valley. Known as the "Champagne of teas," Darjeeling's unique altitude and terroir produce a flavour found nowhere else.

A distinctive muscatel character with hints of blackcurrant and Muscat grape — almost wine-like, with a bright, light infusion and a slight astringency.

Graded TGFOP (Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe), a high-quality grade given to finished teas based on the quality and condition of the leaves.

The Story:

In the early 20th century, the estate owner's daughter Margaret visited and fell deeply in love with the tea garden and its landscapes. She hoped to return, but fell ill on the voyage back and never made it. Her father renamed the estate Margaret's Hope — a lasting tribute to her unfulfilled dream.
