Our Junchi green tea comes from a family-run estate in the Dhankuta district of Nepal, grown at between 4,000 and 6,000 feet above sea level. With Mt. Everest to the north and the lowland Terai jungles to the south, cooling mountain mists meet warmer southern air to create a unique microclimate that the tea thrives on.
A Silver Orange Pekoe grade, it is light and aromatic with notes of grass, wheat, and moss, leading to a surprisingly mild muscatel finish — comparable to the finest Darjeelings, and often preferred by professional tea tasters.
